 Toenail Cutting Service

Our new Toenail Cutting Service was officially launched in January 2007.  Our trained Footcare Support Workers can cut toenails, file hard skin and give general advice on footcare in our clinic. Unfortunately, we cannot deal with corns. Home visits can be arranged for housebound clients.

The service is available to anyone over 60, who lives in or around the Borough of Epsom & Ewell and who does not have  any of the following health problems:

Our trained Footcare Support Workers will cut your toenails

  • Diabetes
  • Poor immunity to infection
  • Severe circulation problems
  • Nerve damage in legs and feet
  • Foot ulcers
  • Severe foot deformity
  • Connective tissue disorders eg. rheumatoid arthritis
  • Conditions requiring certain medication such as Warfarin or high dose steroids

Additional Services                                        Finger nail clipping - £2.50.                    Manicures - £10 (+ an initial charge of £5 for a set of instruments)

How to get to the Clinic

There is some free parking beside the Longmead Centre and in the surrounding roads.

Bus Route E5 stops in Sefton Road or  the 418 stops in Longmead Road.

Age Concern Transport can be arranged when an appointment is booked.

How much does it cost?

£10 registration fee which includes a set of instruments that are brought to each appointment

£10 - Clinic Appointment

£15 - Home Visit
