I am glad I got involved. I feel I really am making a difference
You get to a certain age and you realise life isnt just about making money. Its good to put some effort into something else
Every time I visit I am told that I am making their week. How many times do people tell you that!
I am young but there seems to be quite a lot volunteers working for Age Concern who are my age. I was quite surprised!
I recently retired and had a very busy job. Volunteering has been a great way to keep a focus, but still have time to pursue other interests.
